COUPLE has joined the European Hydrogen Innovation Cluster (EUH2cluster), an initiative that brings together similar EU-funded projects developing complementary technologies across the hydrogen and ammonia value chain.

Each project addresses a different step of the chain, from hydrogen production and purification to storage, conversion and end use. COUPLE contributes its work on ammonia cracking: recovering high-purity, pressurised hydrogen from ammonia through coupled membrane technologies.

The cluster brings together AMBHER, ANDREAH, APOLO, CARMA-H2, COUPLE, HERMES, HYIELD, MEASURED and PYRAH2. By sharing knowledge, coordinating dissemination activities and creating opportunities for collaboration, the projects aim to strengthen links between research, industry and other stakeholders, and to increase the collective impact of European hydrogen innovation.

As its first joint output, the cluster has published a brochure presenting the nine projects. For each one, it outlines objectives, technologies, expected impacts and demonstration activities, offering a snapshot of the hydrogen and ammonia solutions being developed across Europe.
